I Told Ya I Would…

Back to Crochet Baby Booties

I told you all I’d post the name of the book I’m using to create these oh-soo-adorable baby booties. Well, here it is:

Yarn Booties for Baby 10 Crochet Designs

And…! Don’t forget about the photos of the baby booties I’ve created so far.  Do share which baby booty is your favorite and why in the Comment box below. Gracias and enjoy!

“Spring Fresh” by Carole Prior was the first set of booties I decided to create from the book. Their ruffled cuff makes them fun and versatile. Add them to any casual outfit to give a hint of ‘dainty,’ or use them with baby’s favorite dress to complete a fancy look. Ribbon can always been changed out, and of course, so can the colors of the yarn used. Let your creative juices run wild!

Note:  Honestly, despite it being a Level II, Easy crochet pattern, I struggled a bit with trying to visualize how each part of the booty was being constructed. Yup, I’m a 100% visual learner, so reading these patterns doesn’t always do me justice the first time around. BUT! I did in fact finish the pattern with success, as you can see in the photo provided above. I’m going to toot my horn a little – *Pat on the back* to me. 😀

“Precious in Pink” by Mary Ann Sipes was the second set of baby booties I created. By far, they have been THE easiest and quickest set of booties to make. A Mary Jane look-alike makes them a sweet gift to give any expecting Mother. No issues with this pattern!

“Sunshine Booties” by Jennine DeMoss has been my FAVORITE baby booty pattern thus far. Their soft yellow and white color combination, along with their subtle clusters brings a smile to anyone’s face. A definite MUST HAVE to any baby’s fall (or spring) wardrobe!

“Bluebells” by Mary Ann Sipes is such a precious pattern! I love, love, LOVE the FP Cluster (Front Post Cluster) texture that Mary uses throughout. While this pattern looks intimidating, it’s actually quite simplistic and quick to work up. Seriously, what Mommy wouldn’t want to see her newborn Baby Boy in these fall-chic baby booties?!
